Human–Screen Interaction Performance

Dream

A wireframe energy network forms in the dark before a blue orb descends to meet a lone dancer. As light multiplies and digital figures cross the stage, one private dream grows into a seven-person act of collective creation.

02THE CONCEPT

Performance Concept

One point of light passes from personal discovery to collective creation, using energy and connection as the visual thread.

A dream becomes a future when it moves beyond one person's imagination and finds a structure others can help build.

VJ Dance · Visual Project Solution

Core Concept

The wireframe grid suggests a world of systems already in place, but not yet given a human direction.

The descending orb creates an intimate encounter. A large future begins with one person willing to notice and respond to a small possibility.

Digital figures and multiplied light expand the scale of imagination, showing ideas moving faster and farther than a single body can travel.

When the ensemble enters, the dream gains responsibility. Coordination, not spectacle alone, is what allows separate energies to become a shared project.

The work treats dreaming as active practice: curiosity begins it, collaboration gives it form, and sustained effort makes it part of the world.

WHY IT MATTERS

Dream turns a broad vision statement into a human progression the audience can follow. It moves from discovery to collaboration, giving a corporate or civic future narrative both intimacy and stage scale.

04VISUAL SYSTEM

Selected Performance Frames

Five frames follow energy from infrastructure and a single orb to flight, encounter, and collective creation.

05PROJECT SYSTEM

Project & Stage Adaptation

Coordinate the solo-to-ensemble transition, orb timing, and stage zones so the growth in scale remains clear.

Every visual transition is mapped against performer positions, gesture endpoints, musical cues, and screen composition. This keeps the interaction readable in rehearsal and gives the production team clear timing references instead of relying on guesswork on show day.

Adaptation begins with the actual screen ratio, stage dimensions, cast, sightlines, lighting, and show length. Brand text, colors, product imagery, and final reveals can then be rebuilt inside the existing structure, with output versions prepared for the main screen, side screens, or irregular LED layouts as required.

Adaptation Priorities

  1. Performer positions and interaction cue points
  2. Gesture direction, timing, and visual response
  3. Screen ratio and safe-area adjustment
  4. Rhythm, transitions, and section length
  5. Color, typography, and brand integration
  6. Main-screen, side-screen, or irregular-screen layout
  7. Rehearsal reference and preview output
  8. Final deliverables confirmed for the production
